Eamonn Weed joined Sparhawk as the Grade 4 Homeroom Teacher, and now serves as a Grade 6 Homeroom Teacher. Mr. Weed graduated Cum Laude from Hillsdale College. In addition to serving several valuable leadership roles across the student body, including Student Director of Operations in Admissions and Resident Assistant for a dorm of 170 freshmen, he played for four years on Hillsdale’s hockey team. Mr. Weed came to Boston from his home state of Michigan after being chosen by the Superintendent of Boston Catholic Schools, Mr. Thomas Carroll, as a St. Thomas More Teaching Fellow. He taught History, English, and Religion last year at St. Theresa’s in Somerville. Mr. Weed’s experiences as a scholar, mentor, athlete, and outdoors adventurer combine to make him a special fit for Sparhawk.
